About IBS Tummychow
About this site
This site is dedicated to a simplified presentation of IBS information, and strategies for coping with IBS that minimize the use of drugs, and emphasize the management of IBS through diet.
About Tummychow.com
Tummy chow began when I learned that certain foods trigger IBS, mine and (probably) everyone else’s.
-
It’s not a problem with lactose intolerance, but an inability to tolerate any form of
dairy. - It’s not a problem with Diet Coke with Lime, ™ but a problem with any carbonated
beverage. - It’s not just a problem with Diet Coke and carbonated beverages, it’s a problem with
Splenda. -
It’s not just a problem with Diet Coke ™ and carbonated beverages and Splenda, ™it’s
also a problem with caffeine! - It’s not just a problem with Coffee, but a problem with caffeine–found in pills, for example.
What is suitable food for someone who wants to avoid IBS triggers? That is the main question this site answers. I provide some Amazon links for those who want to change their diets to avoid or manage IBS triggers.
About Me/Us
This is a home-based business currently run by one person. I have and will continue
to shop the web for good products that are rapidly delivered.
I do think that the person responsible for IBS is the person who has it. That’s me as well as you. No one else knows what it’s like, no one else can fix it. That’s why I put such emphasis on dietary changes. You are in charge; what you need is good information with which to work. I hope that this site will provide a digest of the information you need.
Some of the sources for food that are shown here pay me a part of the profit they make, to direct you to their site (Amazon). Some of the sources are included because they have good or cheap stuff, regardless of whether I make money by pointing you in their direction.
Formalities
The parent company is personlinks, which started out as personlinks.org, two years ago. You can email me, Sue, at tummychow@gmail.com, for official stuff.
